Hmm…?

On the cover he has white hair, but in the manga he has black hair right? Is that his little brother on the cover? But he has swords strapped to his waist… it’s not the little brother right? So his hair is white? I don’t like it.

thats mc, the hair isnt white but its blue, the shade in the manga isnt black either its a shade usually used to draw blue, red or green color

I feel like my concept of greyscale is off. If it’s a light enough blue to look white, on the cover, then it should be shaded in grey not black. If it’s as dark as midoriya’s hair, then black would make sense. Otherwise it seems weird to me.

I take it back. His hair is a mix of black and grey. I guess the author is using the black as a kind of shading? It just bugs me that if you copy/paste the cover into a document and print it, in black and white ink setting, the result looks nothing like the color inside the series. Then again, I’ve seen covers where the characters depicted are clearly from the design phase, rather than the final version. Those tend to look nothing like the characters at all. So this one isn’t so bad by comparison. I should just get over it.
