I think grandma will cook it if she wil see the cabbage and by then the chick is already full. And the chick is not dirty, the can cook it later, for sure the chick won't eat that much. And they are kids, they just thinking to feed the chick and don't think much about some details like grown ups do. They just want to feed the chick.
when they asked for a few leaves of cabbages, i was so moved thinking they were probably gonna make stew out of it. but kids gave a whole head of cabbage to a friggin chick (ﾉ≧∇≦)ﾉ
they couldve just taken a few leaves off then cooked the rest of it lol
