yeah that's what I was thinking too, u can't just be covering up shit for your wife when you know the temple is trying to take as much influence over the kingdom as possible, if anything u should try to help her get to a better path or overcome her shit attitude she got rn but if maybe he just doesn't know how to help other than this idk
More than that tho, palace monopolized her powers and then later on, the temples power. They stopped healing their citizens, so it’s not only about them taking influence but also not doing their jobs. If he really MUST he could’ve kept temple in check without completely ruining Diana. They were fighting anyways, so might as well argue about something worthwhile
man no matter what u think of Helios, it's kind of insane how he is still trying to save Diana after all that she's done. he is pretty much putting everything he has on the line to cover up the Temple's meddling just bc it's related to Diana , even tho he knows this could hurt him a lot too. he ruined his somewhat okay relationship with Hestia too over this. ig he is devoted or whatever but this is a pretty shitty situation all around. I can't see Diana stopping now and I think she is gonna finish hestia's job on her own stupidity lol we shall see
