Well, he definitely respects her. I just don't know how its taken her that long to want to reach that stage.

7 yrs is a bit too much. I would have understand 1 year but 7? While sleeping in the same bed? It's cool he respected her timing, but I don't equate 7 years of chastity (celibacy?) to true love.
