I think this is a good ending. No way they could toss everything aside and be happy for the rest of their life after doing so many forbidden things. And he did purposely die tho. All the signs of someone who plan to commit suicide are there.
i HATE HATE the ending WHY DID HE DIE?!? i wanted to hear more of his pov, just when i came across a manga that's really my type it ends up in tragedy GOD NO. His son is just as fucked up as them idk where he got that trait but it was unnecessary (not that i didn't like it) but srsly that's all we get from Shinobu? And the way he called him Take I'M CRYING. The ending i think he didn't purposely die, it was an accident but yknow where they could've avoid it but accepted it anyway because of probably the guilt they felt but if it was guilt then he shouldn't have confessed he fell in love with Takezou he fully accepted it tho, im baffled. But since he wrote a letter and alrdy told someone to give it to Take and his wife i think he was okay w it. Who fell in love first tho? Probably Shinobu.
