I don't think he's bad at the role. There are some things that require experience which compared to his father and sister who has memories of being empress, he doesn't have. He's a good person that is doing his best + he's not stupid or reckless. I think that's more than enough. The real issue is that deep down he doesn't get any satisfaction from the role of being crown prince. It's like being stuck with a job you hate. In that sense, Dorothy is more suited because I think she does like that sort of role. But if the crown prince becomes emperor, he wont be a bad one. It's just a process that will require time and a lot of unhappiness from him (mostly cause their father sucks in all possible ways)
its weird but i want them to rule together lol. i dont want either of them to fully have that pressure, theyre both not ready. ray, as u said, because of less knowledge, and dorothy cause of PTSD-
From what we've seen here with Farmer George, it's seems her brother isn't cut out to be crown prince, far less emperor. Which means I can see them pulling this card in and making fl empress again. Which I hate honestly. That role is tied to so much of her trauma. Whether she receives it fairly or by force, I don't think it's healthy to make her empress again. I mean the brother could buckle up like his father said! Sit down, hit the books. Just because you're not good at it now, doesn't mean you should give up! For our Dorothy's sake boy, you better start studying!
