I disagree, different omegaverse have different rules about how alpha/beta/omega traits are inherited. He probably is a beta
Okay I actually thought about this more (also sorry for writing so much lmaoo):
It could be possible that he is actually a unpresented recessive alpha/omega. I would rather he stay a beta, and realize his self work with how he is, and accept himself as a beta and stop pretending he is an alpha.
but him actually being an alpha/omega would also be a way of resolving his personal conflict. I think it’s a clumsy way of doing it, but being a recessive alpha/omega would prove his “worth” to his family, and to see himself as valuable. And I think it would cheapen the themes of the story. If would prove the MC actually was “worthless” as a beta, and is only has value since he is an alpha/omega.
I would much prefer he is a beta, and in part through his relationship with hansol, is able to realize his self worth. It would help disprove the abuse he’s been subjected to his whole life; that even though he is not an alpha, he still matters and is worthy of love/affection
Also if there was infidelity, that would certainly add some drama. But it would also mean he isn’t genetically related to his mother or the grandfather. (I’m assuming the dad gave birth since he’s the omega and im pretty sure mom is the alpha) And impressing them is part of why he pretends to be an alpha, since they own the big company. If the dad did have an affair, it could potentially explain part of the immense pressure he puts on the MC to be perfect and maintain his “alpha” identity. But I think even with the current assumption the MC is genetically related to the mom and grandpa, the dad’s pressure on the MC makes sense; The dad wanted to secure his position in the wealthy family by using his son (which obviously didn’t work)
But this would add unnecessary drama, and I think it would annoy me if it happened. I don’t know why the dad would cheat on the mom, considering she is from the wealthy family. Also I’m presuming you meant he would have slept with a beta. And I also can’t understand why he would cheat on his dominant (?) alpha partner with some random beta. I just think it would be difficult for the creator to execute this plot line in a way that’s believable
Uke can't be a beta since his mom is Alpha and dad Omega.. I'm thinking he's a recessive Omega who hasn't shown yet .. but if he's a beta the parent must have cheated.. just my two cents. (〜￣△￣)〜
