I mean tbf all the characters written here are flawed but imo still relatable/likable in a way including the main villain(s) They’re not completely black or white, they display complex feelings and morally questionable actions that corresponds with it so it feels very humanizing that you can’t simply bring yourself to hate anyone here tbh.

I like Charin I feel like it's due to chapter 19 and 20 showing us their relationship and the inner termoil he was facing. I don't think he'll make it but I'm hoping he does.

I think Charin saying his wish didn't come true means Jin's wish won't come true either.
While I don’t think Charin is a bad person, I wouldn’t say he’s a good one either. He’s an incredibly flawed person, evidently bad decision making skills and prideful while having an inferiority complex. Despite this though, I can’t find even a speck of myself not liking Charin. But it’s completely understandable that some people would dislike him, I mean… what even is there to like? I’m… not sure, I can’t even tell you what it is that makes me like him. But maybe I like Charin because he’s really pretty, and Jin likes him so that affection has seeped into me. And I like when they smile.
Honestly, I genuinely appreciate the time that’s being spent to flesh out Charin’s character and thoughts, not just because I like him though but because learning about someone who is loved is learning about the person who loves them. Thus, learning about Charin is learning about Jin. And beyond that, the two are just greatly interconnected as a whole.
We’re definitely building up to some sort of climax for the end of this season, which scares me because of all the death flags surrounding Charin. I don’t want him to die, I want their problems to be resolved and for him and Jin to live their lives happy. Things are looking bleak but I still have hope. That illustration of Tehir, Jin and Charin is keeping me going, I hope we see what it entails in a later chapter. If we do, it likely won’t be in this one but in Tehir’s season.
Anyway that wraps up my thoughts, I really like both Charin and Jin.
