The stalker comes from a really rich family, so the butlers that were feeding cryptid kanenogi are from the stalker's family and not cuz kanenogi is rich
He was adopted in that family but the stalker thought they were married. It was said in a chapter that cryptids are sometimes adopted into families for incentives (might be for tax incentives). The stalker and Kanenogi-san are brothers, that’s where his name “Kanenogi” came from. It’s their surname, so he is a young master.

I was honestly confused why Kanenogi-san seem so chill, unassuming and airheaded compare to the other cryptids but it was because he was a young master??? He has his own butler and all. Now I can’t see him the same way lol
