I appreciated that the story realistically shows the difficulty of a gay dude being in the closet and the uke not trusting the seme because he's been burned before.

However, I don't love how biphobic and even kind of demanding the uke is. Like I get the trust issues and how Japan overall has a more heteronormative lens on society. Still it did leave a bit of a bad taste of my mouth.

    “Don’t cheat on me or date me if there’s a chance you’ll demand something I physically can’t provide (children)” is a VERY reasonable demand, and bi people aren’t owed attraction from gay people who want someone they fully relate to. ML spent a bunch of time dating a girl he didn’t even like (and TOLD the uke about it,) so what reason does the uke have to believe he is loyal?
