I was looking for a comment like yours. Everyone was saying how beautiful and amazing this story is and someone even said it has a happy ending but honestly I feel so empty after finishing it. Firstly the smut with the main couple were not even there when they were young but had such a detailed one with Demetri it felt so weird especially when they kinda just squeezed it there in the context I felt so disgusted. And then it had a time skip with age difference of 35 years. I’m really not a fan of such big age gap even if they tried to draw mc look much younger but still he’s 55. And they are alone in that new timeline. And they are still going to age right and die right? Then ml gonna be alone since mc is much older. It’s not a sad ending but I don’t even feel happy at all. I don’t hate this story, it’s interesting but it just left such bad aftertaste for me.
the scene with demetri was just a dream so it didn't actually happen. i agree with everything u said too though and im not a fan of the huge age gap either.
Hmm for me the age gap was sweet for him it meant I'll love you anyways even if your 50
and not every 50 yr old is gray haired and feeble. 50 is middle age. I do agree that it might be sad in the future but I want to think either they can age him up with some science or maybe he'll choose to die together or maybe they will create a de-aging elixir or maybe put their minds in androids or something I'm gonna choose to think they find a way.
But even without that I find it sweet that the main guy loves him for his heart not his looks and was touched beyond reason that he choose to stop his own life to. So he wouldn't be alone in the future.
And for me he is one sexy older man though his body in my opinion was in a little to good shape but I have met someone older than this in great shape before because they were a marathon runner and took good care of there health. So what I'm thinking happened is our guy got self conscious and started exercising more to sustain his body not only for insecurity reasons but health reasons.
Now they also say humans live longer now so after taking care of his health with future tech they may be able live alot longer and have more than 50 more yrs together. And I think neither one of them would regret for a second.
I'm still not finish, not even half of the story yet, I want to know if Mc's friend and redhead will be together? Like their first introduction already hit the mark to me, guilty for having the second couple syndrome always,,

i have mixed feelings.. although im glad the main couple got their happy ending but what about demetri? mc's friend and the redhead? i know the story is completed but it felt a bit rushed and incomplete in my opinion... i understand the huge timeskip but the world feels empty now.. not a fan of what happened sorry...
