SPOILERS???? yes extremely well said!!! In the novel zhenya even expands on it himself talking about how he forced himself on taekjoo bc he basically didn’t know better as he forces his way to get what he wants due to power. But he does have a bit of character development!
obviously I’m not excusing him for or anything bc I still dislike his character for what he did and how taekjoo forgives him like nothing at the end
I might get disliked for saying this but oh well. Yes it is a mafia x spy story. Of course there's gonna be violence, action, crime, etc. The things you'd expect from those types of stories. Which there seems to be confusion that I've seen with people coming after others for that reason. Saying oh it's a mafia x spy story it's not gonna be some rainbow farting unicorn fairytale. The point that was brought up was rape. In which the rape was being justified because it is mafia. Which makes sense since rape and sex are used as plot devices. But not when it involves romance between the pairing/couple. Rape isn't an element of romance nor should it be used in that way. That's just psychological horror imo.
