Koyama is Ameri's ex boyfriend, the real Ameri not our yanhomo MC. MC's real name is Mao.

Yuuma ofc lol. After Koyama moved to other school, he met real Ameri and our MC. 3 of them became close, Koyama told them about boy called Yuuma, our MC immediately knew that's his Yuuma, so he borrowed Ameri's identity and enrolled to the same HS as Yuuma to save him. Real Ameri is okay with it cause he has some family issues, also a shut-ins.

Fake Ameri a.k.a our MC is Yuuma's childhood friend named Mao but because there was another Mao, the girl one. Yuuma completely forgot about him, his memory about childhood friend named "Mao" overlaps. So Ameri keeps pretending.

Well, both are the main characters. I mean, this story is about both of them. The title is what Mao/Ameri did for Yuuma. Unless you meant it like MC = uke, ML = seme thingy, then I don’t know. This isn’t a BL manga; it's published in some seinen/shounen magazine.

The twins first appear in chapter 63 or 64. I forget, but it’s very recent.
Koyama is the real Ameri's ex. This manga is full of twists. For example, we initially get hints that Koyama and Mao/Ameri are ex-lovers, but later, it is revealed that Koyama is actually the real Ameri's boyfriend.
It’s kind of hard to explain this manga because like it's really full of twists, but later, we get another twist that reveals the earlier twists are actually something else. Twists within twists. Lol.

But the biggest and most important twists are:
- Ameri is actually Yuuma's childhood friend called Mao.
- The real Ameri's family is a Yakuza family, and his half-brother (the pony-tailed man we see in the current translated chapter/the guy on the current cover) comes to kill him. This dude doesn’t even know that our Mao Ameri is fake.
- The baldy bully dude is still alive and wants to kill Yuuma and Mao Ameri.
- Mao Ameri was messed up. When he was confronted by the police, he actually deliberately rammed one of the officers. Yeah, he’s legit a criminal now.
-And I don’t know if this is important or not, but Yokota is actually in love with Mao Ameri, not Yuuma. She’s confused about this too.

This manga also has a spin-off about the pony-tailed dude's past. I hope someone picks it up.

OKAY THAT WAS A LOT TO UNPACK OMG. I didn't expect for him to actually have another twin and borrow his identity, nor that his real twin was dating Koyama

When I saw Yuma's memory about Mao saving him, I was thinking that there was a possibility he was Mao nee-san brother and that he switched with her in that memory, but them actually being two unrelated children called Mao who both were Yuma's childhood friends is crazy.

Nooo. His real twin is someone else, he just met him in the latest chapters. His twin is not the real Ameri. Real Ameri is just his friend from his old school.
