Yeah my bad if I came off a little rude I was very passionate at the time. Anyways yes he still likes her but doesn't want to burden her with his feelings especially when she isn't sure about her own in his case he realized this when shorty with the red hair asked him out and he point blank felt nothing for her and chose to reject her. So he realized that FL would've probably felt the same way about him someone she didn't like asking her out randomly
