If I wanted to read about a yandere I'd go find a story with a yandere tag. This is a political drama and I expect the MC to be smart enough to eliminate the sadist with a claim to the throne, not marry him to her friend.
Please what part of the recent chapters told you so ? The murder of priest ? The spreading of the plague ? The kidnapping ? Or the attempt rape wenre about to witness ?
MeowCat has a good point, it wouldn't fit the story. I guess I just liked the 'vibe' and trusted that Lawrence was being sincere when he said the only thing he cared about now was her.

Heck no. He literally wants to destroy everything lysia loves and possess her. No room for yandere here and especially not lysia. She doesn’t like him and shouldn’t be forced to be with him
If I think maybe Laurence and Lysia can work out? He's a bit of a yandere but there are plenty of manga on this site with yasdere protags.
