Who cares if my daughter becomes evil. If I was him, at this point after watching these despicable people show their true nature and how self-centred they are that they'd somehow justify killing a child, I'd let her be evil. How can you judge what is good and evil when there is evil and good on both sides?
I'd let her take revenge, she could kill anyone she wants - and considering how the masses treat her, how the people we thought we could trust treat her, how she will be treated in the future... It would be justified. She's my little girl anyways, I'll always be on her side.
I wouldn't want seol-ah to 'change' to be GOOD, I would want her to change to be HAPPY.
