ch 48 & 65

i’m just at ch. 48 and the reason adeline gave for wanting to kill roryal just because he’s a seous is so weird and upsetting to me. as far as we (and she) knows, he’s a good guy but she wants to kill him just because he’s a seous and they’re ’at war’. like girl what kind of thinking is that? that’s how genociders think

ch 65 - ‘ killing seous never bothered me because they were not of my kind’.
i’m liking adeline less and less lol

    Yeah killing that kind Seous was unnecessary. At least she left his family alone... Although it must have been hard without him... I think they wanted to show how far she was willing to go to protect her loved ones.

    I get the concept that if he did notice any divine magic he would have reported it and that could have been dangerous for her people. However he knew nothing just wanted to be with his family.

    Maybe his warning contribute to deaths in her previous life so wanted to be safe not sorry. Uproot a weed before it roots deeply and destroys the life around it concept...

    I really wanted her to kill the toxic guy who controlled the prophet and her brother.
