    It’s not unusual for couples in Korean to still refer to each other by titles and honorifics xD

    This one viral TikToker went over it but calling each other by your first name signals a big shift in the relationship in East Asian cultures so sometimes couples will stay call each other by “Mr,” or “Ms,” or even by their respective titles for sometime ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

    Of course there’s no western equivalent so the disconnect

    I agree!! I wish more novel writers incorporate this change gradually (I only see this change in historical romance novels as opposed to modern romance stories)

    But I think the work aspect comes into play and since she’s insecure af I don’t think it’ll change soon
