Thing is there’s a lot of concepts in the story. Revenge, romance, politics, etc. It would be next to impossible to make a story like this end in LESS than 100 chapters, unless the story was rushed and no character development was being made.
Overall, this story is clearly a slow burn in all aspects, and it’s developing very nicely because of it.

Somehow i feel like this has been dragged a bit longer?? I binged read this like wayyy back before and finished it when it had literally less chaps, so i just come every now and then from the notifs...and i see ch.100 and somehow its still not resolved (a little?) like still no drama action family revenge angst, sentenced to guillotine, burning, poisoning, rumors, threatening. Like idk....but i guess we are about to get there its just im surprised it TOOK 100 chaps for the ACTUAL showdown to start.
