If you had a loved one possessed one day, I don’t think it’s necessarily selfish to wish for that person back.
I think it’s more selfish that Baeksa would take over someone’s entire life to fulfill his desire of being a big mighty dragon, no matter how pitiful he is. Albeit he took over a terrible life in this case. I wonder if the step father had willingly given up his body or something. But again, Muyeon wouldn’t know that.
And as far as I’m aware, nothing so far suggests that Muyeon put his step father into the terrible situations he went through or that he raped him.
