yes basically… we aren’t sure why they were switching clothes… the past also implies that jitae and mieum were close, unsure of how they met (ie. jitae calling mieum hyung and liking when he pats his head). Not to confuse you more but I’m not sure if anyone caught this, i think the mom paid mieums dad to kidnap jitae because in one of the chapters, he came up to her and then her men beat him up and that’s when Jian took over (which i think leads to the scene in the start of the book!)

also, i read your comment wrong. let me clarify further. Jitae and Hajoon (according to chap 30) always switched clothes when Jitae would visit Mieum. On the day of the accident, we see Baek Jitae’s name tag with blood (chap 30) implying that the dad knew it was Jitae (likely a target or set up) and kidnapped him. So he did not have Hajoons name tag on that day (i think). Mieum did have amnesia / trauma from the incident but being around people from his past is triggering his memories. I hope that makes sense ahhh
Kindly explain to me the story, jitae was wearing hajoons clothes when he got kidnapped by mieum's dad then when his dad bout to kill jitae, mieum stepped in and was the one who got hit and had amnesia or some shit
