I read somewhere that she isn't the real sister. Wasn't she a mermaid that saved young ML blue hair when he was out drowning. Then she became human to look for him? (?) something like that. There's a back story for that. It just happened she forgot and he became a pos growing up, and also happened that she became his fake sister.
