Basically that ugly guy with long brown hair is trying to defame the Dutchy bc he wants to be a mess them up. This was all his plan, hiring that singer and all the guests on the ship know as well. Since the duchy has the highest rank after the royal family and are next in line right after with a very strong support, so they can possibly be yk chosen if a re-election were to be happen. So that person is trying to create a rift between the royal family and the dutchy, so that those people can secure a higher position. Basically a trap to pull down the dutchy. Also I'm sure that guy fancies our GURL, seeing how he saw everyone as pigs and just her was shining In his eyes. The younger brother of the king from other nation(I don't remember what nation they were) but kinda got what's happening and came to inform our FL, although he is definitely hiding some cards and the FL seems to know that as well. Her father returned from the capital to Arzen with the crown prince as you can see. Also I feel like he wants the FL(the brown haired guy). The way he kept looking at her, enough to hire a girl and make her look similar to her and defame them disgusting
I'm sure this is what happened the past few chapters, although it was kinda complicated
She is plotting against them as well cause she has caught on what they're trying to do
