Agreed. Honestly, I was surprised she said "no" to going to the capital with Tehen, it really shows her growth and how kindness can help those who have been isolated for so long; even though, she is still struggling and trying to figure out who she is as a person and her reality. This is very similar to the movie gaslight. Where the husband slowly erodes his wife's sanity by lying to her about her forgetfulness, etc. I believe the author did a good job demonstrating how this behavior starts and how it isolates people. Plus the MIL's abuse adds another layer of pain to the FL's story. I can't wait for the FL to build up her confidence, where she finds herself and her voice again:) Also, ML Evan is pretty quick to catch on, it helps the flow of the story. All in all, I feel this webtoon is great story about a trauma survivor overcoming her pain, finding a good support network, and a safe place to heal. I am excited to see the end, even if it's obvious via webtoon title :)
I almost didn’t read this based off of what people were saying about weak female MC only to find out it’s a woman who’s barely free of abuse and has severe trauma…. I think this is a wonderful piece of media so far and has approached her abuse in a VERY realistic way. I want nothing more than to see her growth and journey despite what people say “took her only five years” Some of y’all do NOT have media literacy or just hate women or are projecting your own situations good lord…
