It reminds me of one episode of The Amazing World of Gumball where the ghost was manipulating Gumball into using his body to do what a normal living thing does and Gamble was having difficulty saying "no" and the ghost took advantage of it, and that episode was just weird. It's like it's representing something else. I feel that it's the same in this manga, at first, you wouldn't think of it as abuse but all abuse started that way.
