man idk how you interpreted the whole story but Id say its the opposite. The whole thing was well thought of actually, and the explanation tha author left (q and a) had made things clearer. Ive read lots of psychological yaoi stories and this is just not even close with other that shares similar plots. Maybe that thought that the uke is not giving just stuck too much with you thats why the whole reading experience was not good.
Still, its your opinion and we do think off stuff differently~ hope you find a better read though!

also as add ons~ uke didnt really grew up normally due to his ability to memorize and remember stuff (hyperthemysia) caused a toll on his mind in which he'd seem very entitled as the suitcase was the only way, like ONLY way he'd stay normal.
Imagine if he did not become that aggresive on threatening the semento bring his suitcase back, he'd lost his mind as all bad memories would only what he'd remember thus may lead to his death, whereas for the seme, he was the perfect oerson to use for such cause. Basically they be using each other, as the seme uses him to due to the map location (which clearlynwas uke's fault) but at the end, what they did was for survival and the uke had significantly affected the seme where he was able to find a little bit of himself, of what feeling and being normal was, uke helped develop/restore seme's humanity.
I also think seme would die and not reach the hosp. if he had not met the uke, due to his tendencies which would create lots of enemies that would try and kill him. Especially, if he had met the traitor friend along the way.

I do think my experience with the story was impacted by my sleep deprivation and work stress lol and yeah I did overreact basically missing the essence of the story and focusing on the fact how the uke continued to press my buttons. I'm usually really patient even with the most frustrating characters but the sleep deprivation really got me. I think just because the uke was annoying in the beginning and I had already formed an image of him I was refusing to let go of that and that's why he continued to piss me off while the seme just went under my radar lol. The fact that I came more annoyed and frustrated from the story than when I initially came in really hammered my hate on the uke and the story. But one I thing I will absolutely stand by is that this story could've been better conveyed and it was absolutely rushed. I would've preferred to see the seme and uke connecting and forming levels of trust instead of smut scenes. The fact that the author had to explain in the q and a where they formed connection really did bug me because normally as the story progresses and the connections and love interest is formed it comes out of the story as natural, then the readers would go reread and find these little inklings of connection forming but here it was too sudden and the author only referenced like 1-2 scenes maybe. You don't see authors pointing out where the characters fell in love and whatnot because the progression is so natural that it becomes digestable but it wasn't the case here in my opinion atleast. I do think I was too harsh in my comment but I still believe it doesn't deserve a high rating maybe an 8.9 or 9 at best. But thanks for your kind comment lol I was able reflect on myself while reading it ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Read the whole thing. Yup still hate the uke he gave me a massive headache. First of all he was entitled af like it was so weird mid story he started expecting reciprocation from the seme and got upset when he didn't get any. Around 30 chapterish they have the convo about the seme putting an act around him and got upset as if the seme has betrayed him by not being in love with him and was just using him for getting to the shelter by deceiving him like??!? Sir wasn't it always like that?? You both were using each other from the beginning for your goals and to begin with seme had to use you because you lost his map!! Tf you were the one to cause this mess to begin with??!? It's not like seme had confessed or said something along the lines to the uke and it's not like the uke had revealed everything to the seme. He was also holding onto info, dangling it infront of the seme so there was no relationship of trust to begin with like they never built any trust except for the last 2 chapters. It was so weird seeing him act all betrayed because the seme wasn't in love with and has deceived him but there was no deception. Honestly the seme didn't owe the uke feelings of love or whatever because the uke fell in love with him they're his own to deal with. I blame it on the rushed writing and no emotional chemistry building if the author had worked on building the chemistry between the leads and made them feel emotionally connected instead of drawing them having mindless sex with no emotional connection whatsoever I probably would've had a different opinion. This honestly doesn't deserve the 9.4 rating it's overhyped and rushed and the writing's not even that good.
