Oh, sorry my bad, I thought it was medicine. Few chapters ago the doctor gave Matthew medicine to deal with the side effects of the drug and I thought that's what he used with Jin. But you are right, even though Matthew had good intentions, the lack of consent and triggering Jin's PTSD was bad.. Even so, I think Matthew just genuinely wanted to help, I mean, when has he ever had bad intentions against Jin? I don't remember if Matthew was aware about Jin's PTSD regarding injections but if he didn't, then triggering Jin's PTSD was a unintended negative consequence on Matthews part.

Nevermind, forget what I said, saw a comment translating what happened in the raws and apparently Matthew has already injected Jin several times. He did this forcefully everytime Jin woke up so now I doubt Matthews intentions.. He also said a lot of rude things to Jin.
I'll kill myself first before seeing them break up so I will also drop this and continue reading when it's finished
I think after reading the raws that it’s definitely a good idea to take a break from this story. I thought that after Matthew sexually assaulted Jin, we would finally get more calm moments, but nope. Author continues to give us horrendous situations and Matthew just keeps fucking up and fumbling so hard. Jin is a really good catch and he fully accepted Matthew even after he brutally sexually assaulted him, and for that trust Jin gets nothing but disappointment.
