You do realize Jiyoung is 20 and Jiwoo is now 18. They're both adults according to South Korean law. Jiwoo is so strong now compared to anybody his age. I'm not sure if you've been paying attention to the fact that Jiwoo's status is now of that of an awakener in the top 100s BECAUSE he's Kayden's desciple who's now in the top 10.
Jiwoo may not own a company, but his status enough to be qualified to be with her. And them being awakeners is enough to not need to go to high school according since the time they went to the last Academy. Maybe Jiwoo finished school online, but the author hasn't given details on how education works for adults. Especially people like Kayden who wander picking fights. I mean, maybe Kayden gambled and earned money that way by betting.
There's no grooming happening for she is not raising him in any sense. If anything, she's simply a sponsor and a sparring buddy.
The only thing i agree is the power imbalance, but not societal. Jiyoung is powerful and has been training since a young age. Jiwoo has for just over a year, as it was stated in this latest chapter.
The two getting together is not even odd AT ALL.

It would be grooming if she would entertain the idea of being with him because Jiwoo has no qualms of what it is to be in a relationship much less who is someone that is already established and what's with this defense that he's already 18? That doesn't make it less okay? Jiwoo might be strong compared to his peers but he is still dependent on his mentors and his mom financially. And him still going to school for awakener is literally him in an high school for awakeners The fact that he still needs to go to school to hone his abilities and still has people looking out for him doesn't make him a viable suiter lmao. Y'all and your mental gymnastics. It is creepy that people are shipping them, you don't need to be aware that you're grooming someone but the fact that you entertain the idea of being someone who needs a lot to learn especially in the real world ESPECIALLY for someone who just got introduced into the world of awakeners. Y'all just make excuses and excuses for what? To not look like y'all are condoning this type of relationships? The fact that this is already most of people's mindset while trying to ship the two is appalling already. How much more in real life? You're also gonna excuse a 25 year old person trying to date an 18 year old who isn't even in college yet just because they're 18 according to the law? As a 25 year old person, that's fucking weird because I know that 18 year olds have way different mindset compared to young adults. Like y'all wilding. Like y'all should stop reading shoujo or even bl with big age gaps and questionable relationship dynamics because it is literally rotting your brain.

and what kind of delusion are you in to lower her age to 20 even there's a discussion in tumblr and reddit that she's 20+ and not 20 below because what kind of moron let a 20 year old run a company. I also did my research once again, Jiwoo just turned 18 and that makes it even worse and it was said in the beginning of eleceed that jiyoung is young but she's in her early 20's. Like who fucking gives a CEO position to a 19 years old and she's been CEO for years like y'all just gotta pretend that somehow when she turned 18 she got the company or what. Y'all embarrassing.

Bro did you literally skip the part that their parents (who were responsible for Shinwa Association) DIED when they were young? And she HAD to step up given that she was the older sibling and an awakened herself? It's not like she wanted to head the association, but given her circumstances, she HAD to.
Jiwoo and Jiyoung both have different standings in life and have VERY different situations.
Plus they're quite literally just "crushing" each other, no more no less, at least at the moment. There's nothing wrong with that. No one has initiated anything and no one forced them to like each other. There is an age gap yes, but they're both adults, so I don't see what's wrong with that.

Yeah right man. She was forced to take on the roll of CEO on the company at a young age because her parents died, and she didn't want the burden to land on Jisuk. She didn't get to live a normal life. So how tf is that grooming??
"you don't need to be aware that you're grooming someone but the fact that you entertain the idea of being someone who needs a lot to learn especially in the real world" what tf does this even mean??? You make no sense.
So what if he has a mentor? So what if he's been relying financially on his mother? He started off as a kid. He's still really young, yes, and needs more life experience, yes. What about all those other adults like Royce or Muse who, I'm pretty sure depend on their mentors for almost everything.
People shipping Jiwoo to the girl literally don't understand that both of them have different standing in life and different outlooks of what a relationship is. It's obvious that there's a big disparity because Jiwoo is still a high schooler, depending financially on his mother and his mentors while the girl literally runs a company and have a title to uphold. It's not even about Jiwoo being underage, it's about the unbalanced power dynamics that they will have. Like y'all really overlook grooming just because it's fiction.
