I don't think so. I think the essence of this manga is for Saitama to be OP. If there was someone stronger than him that he may need to beat, then that'll make room for character development like so many other mangas (lose, train, and come back stronger), and I don't think this is the type of manga for it. Well, I assume ONE-sensei wouldn't make it that way. Don't know if Murata-sensei will change more things though, haha.
Eeek! I though the essence of this manga is for us fujoshis and fudanshis to ship Saitama and Genos Σ(っ°Д °;)っ.. Kidding~ One-punch man is a masterpiece so I'm going to trust the mangaka on keeping it sooo much more interesting.

I agree with Yami I think the point is for Saitama to be OP yet still maintaining his virtues and humility no matter how strong he is.
But I do agree with you too on a fujoshi point of view ;) though I haven't gotten round on shipping who to who yet. At the moment it's "wow, cool, awesome, yeah punch the living daylight out of 'em, Genos is hot I wonder if he'd be a seme or uke, damm! that Sonic dude has the body of an uke goddess it's practically screaming in front of their faces that he's an uke and can outrun any other uke body out there (whatever that means ) In my humble opinion.
It's been bothering me for quite awhile now.. Will Blast be a lot more stronger than Saitama? I don't like the sound of it.. not at all.
