literally that's all i can think of i hope candy isn't dead but it's likely that she is :( either that or something happened with his fugly family but given his past behaviors i highly doubt that's the case
if it's not candy then it's possible something might've happened with his dad... in the previous chapter he's been with him in the car, he lied to skylar abt why he hasn't been answering the phone (so maybe it's something that he can't tell skylar about, or maybe he just doesn't want to worry him), his dad also told him to turn off his phone for some reason?? and when he was on the call with ri-in, she said "you're joking" as if she couldn't believe what he's saying, but I don't think she would've said this if candy was dead, i mean why would he joke abt something like this... slight spoiler for the next chapter, nothing serious, but after this cirrus appears to be very tired, he has eye bags and he went to the teacher's office for an early leave... this is all so worrying

I saw some theories on twt that Candy is sick. But Cirrus and Riin entered Riin’s apartment. So, if we assume that Cirrus is crying because of Candy, then she’s dead fr. Because Cirrus wouldn’t leave Candy alone at his apartment if she was just sick. Or there might be other reason but I can’t think of anything Something must’ve happened that Cirrus needed adult’s help (Riin’s mom?) and that’s why he went to Riin’s home
