I accidently disliked this and I can't take it back so I'd like you to know I have never agreed more with a comment.
Human relationship is complex you know? Especially family. They could be treat others like shit but loving their family or familiar people that grow up with them. You can love your family even when you're annoyed or irritated by them doing wrong for others or not allowing you to be with someone
one thing is having an annoying family, a COMPLETELY different thing is having a racist/homophobic/xenophobic family. if I had homophobic parents I wouldn't want them near my loved ones and I would at least make sure that
they changed and turned to decent people before introducing them to each other
