I was skeptical at first too, but I believe it is safe to say that the plot is worth to read. both of them (alpha m omega) have similar family issue, and there are also minor misunderstandings as well. don't worry, it is not as toxic as you think.
there are mentions of sa but it’s not between the two main characters. they have sex during their mating cycles & their first meeting is when the bottom is in heat but nothing happens without his consent. no manipulation and the top isn’t a red flag but there is miscommunication tho it doesn’t last for very long. their age gap is seven years (?) i believe, i don’t know if that’s considered big
It does have a minor miscommunication, but the relationship between the mc and ml is healthy
imo it is so good!! i find the relationship between the main couple amongst the healthiest i've read in an omegaverse particularly. as others have mentioned already abt what you'd rather avoid reading, one good point is that miscommunication doesn't get dragged for the typical 10~20 chaps and is solved rather quickly
