Because the main couple was drawn to like eachother no matter what, But the swcond couple just randomly got tied up while the story continued... they had more time to get to know eachother? it wasn't rushed I feel.
the dynamics of the second couple is better than the main, i dont know what it is but i just felt empty after finishing the story of the main couple, it lacks substance. However, the second couple was just absolutely scrumptious it somehow filled the void i was feeling.
