Lol yes he's more like half sibling/distant family member. I'm only making speculations because i only saw the raws but charin ship basically kicked him overboard as a baby because he was on THEE ship with babies who evolved into military soldiers or top of the class but charin was seen as a 'defective' because of his bodies constitution and as that seaweed guy said majority of their kind eventually end up being sex slaves or commit suicide.
