More like it wasn't regression, just his soul was transferred to a different body instead of his original body. And the queen stopped poisoning him since she was exposed. that's basically just it. now he is 18 if I'm not mistaken in season 2 :))
Nope not 18. 3 months have passed since S1, not 3 years. He’s 15 and doing the coming of age ceremony, where princes go to a cave and talk to the will of syscerian (or wtv).

yes, as for their theory since his soul has transferred to a different one which means theoretically his body does not exist in the current timeline. Tho I don't know why, but it has something to do with the treasure that he used for the time to rewind. And yes, they planned it so the queen would be the 1st to suspect
Queen stopped poisoning him cause the king accused her of trying to kill MC and MC’s mother - put her on blast in public for her crimes, and MC’s master gathered evidence that the Queen’s family killed at least 37 ppl. This was released as flyers to the public, so now the Queen’s reputation is in shambles - she went to MC to strike a deal, and the deal is that I think her reputation gets saved as long as she removes every one of her family’s guards from the palace (rendering her power and authority gone). They both are magically bound to this contract, so they cannot break it or lie about it.
Regarding the souls, essentially there cannot be two of the same souls within one timeline - so MC (Bern, the prince of his actual homeland) does not exist here. Only MC (within the enemy prince’s body) exists. There is no essentially no Bern anymore, his brother is the ONLY prince of his homeland.
The enemy prince soul was in the body previously along with MC, but enemy prince left the body since MC struck the deal with the Queen - you could argue the enemy prince left as it felt like it had received proper revenge by the Queen’s reputation being in shambles. So it said to the MC that this body is now theirs, and they can do wtv they want.

I'm sorry but can somebody remind me the plot of this. I'm too lazy to go back and read again. The only parts i seem to remember is that he got reincarnated in the body of the 3rd prince whose kinda timid and weak and he has two elder bros one of them is the son of the queen and he's the one who became a king and caused the war that ended his life.
