I can see why he made this decision. Nothing in his life was ever stable or ended up just hurting him. Most of his growing up revolved around money, or rather lack of it which made him feel like it was his fault. Now bro is only scared this will also end up as everything else in his life until now. Also because he cares he thinks he needs to „go back” to the way things were before it collapses.
