If your only problem with the story is that it's generic then please keep reading, the unique parts appear after you get to know the characters and their "masks".
I can spoil if you want me to but it gives a very interesting view of the heroes and how they are treated by their countries and it's not just a specific country that does this but all of them but in different ways and degrees.
It's only starting to get good so far and I personally have never seen this genre discussed in this way.
I also haven't seen a "reset" at the start of each season concept like this one and the "exceptions" are not just specific to the mc, like I said ask if you want to be spoiled or ignore my yapping if you don't feel like reading it.
Meh~ story is like all the other player ones.
Not interesting at all, gave it a chance till chapter 15 but it wasn't getting any better
