Yea so many people complain about the flashbacks but without it we would barely see tj and we'd also have no idea how deep their relationship is
I've seen some people complain about the flashbacks but I think it plays into the story telling and love triangle, we mostly ever see tj with ian in the flashbacks because that's when they spent the most time together and the most stuff happened, whenever it comes back to the present its jo with ian and it focuses on them, even the pov for both time periods is usually different, for the past its tj and the present is jo
