Ngl that's a lot of words I didn't say. I just found it weird, where did "disrespect" come from? While yeah Koreans write about European culture too, but it's usually heavily fictionalized fantasy so it's not as weird to me. Plus a lot of the names are obviously written by people who just "found certain European words cool" lol. Meanwhile this manga uses a modern society setting. Feels more deceptive to me, but again that just might be being weird.
In no way do I have anything against the author, it just had this "written by a Koreaboo" vibe about it... Which I hesitate to mention coz apparently "Koreaboo" is not a flattering term or something. To me that word means "loves Korean pop culture to bits" but I'm afraid it'll come off as an insult to others.

Yeah I understand what you mean and I'm sorry if my reply was harsh I was just pointing out how Koreans can write about European cultures so why can't non Koreans write about them
And obv koreaboos just fetishizes korean culture and has no respect for it they are just "Oh I hate being x race I wish i was a korean person" but we can't say everyone who is non korean writing about koreans are koreaboos though
But I feel like the author isn't Korean... So them writing Korean characters strikes me as weird.
Or am I the one being weird?
