I promise you no one would cheer on a girl if she made a guy genuinely fall in love with her then took away his status, abuse him for two years to the point he’s suicidal and attempted multiple times all bc of his father
I think u should reread the story cuz you’ve clearly forgotten all that he has put her through, yes he’s back story is clarifying some thing for us readers but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s wrong and a BASTARD! Nothing could ever make me like him at this point of the story
Its a revenge arc he hates her because she is the daughter of the man who tortured him plain and simple , he has the right to I dont understand why readers are expecting him to be an angel after all that brutality and exploitation he faced , I bet if the roles are reversed people would be cheering for the woman , stop the double standards please
