I feel like that's the appeal of having an antagonist. I do agree with you on Annetta's revenge being unnecessary since the first king is already dead but Annetta is definitely smart. She was young and in love and would have done anything and everything for that pathetic man and that was definitely her biggest weakness but like all of us, she didn't know better. The reason why she even succeeded in tearing apart the empire is definitely because she planned it thoroughly and was cunning and used her brain. She did have a lot of advantages like her powers and all.
You call her stupid but then so was almost every FL b4 they got reincarnated or regressed. Just like Legina. And yes ud think getting revenge on other people for someone else's mistake is wrong just due to blood but on this scale, (her race was wiped out) it's not possible to think rationally.
