Yeeees, I was about to comment this! I was thinking the same too. The way he build his reputation wouldn't be that impactful if it were done in a mere couples of years especially from a dragon's perspective since they are a very arrogant creatures. They wouldn't lay an interest on someone making his move to debut as a troublemaker for like 10 years for example, they would thought that's just a days for them since dragons live for a hundred, no, thousands years even. So, perhaps El did live for a long period of time too, wandering, adjusting in that second life, gain experience, meet his companions and became who he was today. Considering the fact that Rurin was in her baby form (but not in her two-year old moment though, I wish) when he met him and as far as I remember Rurin was hundreds of years in the present right? So in a sense, El was perhaps a less than 100 years older than Rurin which makes no little difference if you base of dragon's life span.
So, yes to them as endgame HAHAHAHAHAA! (masingit lang)
I think he EL has lived for a long long time before the present. His knowledge of other races seems too far back. The way that palace mage address him too is like he's really an old old man. And based on the recent update, his comrades during his heroic days are long dead.
It makes sense since he's an otherworlder mage and he has the dragon heart.
