I... yeah I feel like they are missing a lot of depth emotionally in favour of the action... most manhwa writers forget how important it is to focus on characters and the conflicts, emotions, and struggle with morality they should be portrayed with in situations like this. Its times like these you can really tell what's different from the masters of writing like with Shakespeare's Hamlet and Crime and Punishment.
Most stories these days are just modern trash... enjoyable... but never life changing or accurate. Always meant to make you feel good.
Ews for the mc and ews for the mother. they literally disregarded the whole experience and life of the older seol-ah and just focused on their own perspectives. And the mc does not "GENUINELY" love seol-ah, it's pure out of guilt and fear of creating the witch seol-ah has to be— there's nothing genuine abt that.
They literally thought "It's fine by me, so you should too".
All and all, they lack empathy for the older seol-ah and they also turned super stupid. Lost the potential to be one of the greatest manhwas, ever.
