Oh wow i never thought about that. That must have been extremely tough not having a way to express themselves or communicate easily, i cant imagine what that must have felt like and how that may still be effecting them, thank you for sharing
i remember i had a deaf girl in my class but her parents were extremely poor and enrolled her in a regular middle school just like the rest of us so she never got to learn sign language herself ,we all made up a sign language so that we could talk w her like that but we still didn't get her most of the time i felt so sorry for her ,i just wanted to say that there are deaf ppl out there who them themselves dont have the luxury to learn sign language,anyways this manga was everything loves it to bitssssss
