The whole point was she wanted him to wait for 4 years for her to become an adult. So dating only 18+ people wouldnt work on her. 2nd point was the ML "WANTED" the fake dating scenario to seduce the MC.
That's not true, she literally told him they could just date in secret. Waiting until she's 18 was a concession at best. It bothered me how her age was an excuse he was trying to use, but no one in this comic seemed to think her age was actually an issue.
Also your comment straight up supports my argument, which is that she wouldn't have taken no for an answer even if she was 18+. So she didn't need to be a teenager.
