He didn’t do that cause he knew though. It’s only understandable if he knew the mc was cheating on him first. His only reasoning was “feeling lonely.” Realistically no one would ever take that as an excuse for cheating. Simply break up. The only reason ppl are so understanding is cause they hate the mc more.
