She actually tries to, but he's so worn out from the other two disciplines that he immediately refuses. So instead, she teaches him spirit summoning and helps him make a spirit contract. The spirit he pairs with is earth/fire attribute and looks like a cross between a gopher and a mole (from what I understood from the novel mtl, anyway). It comes back to his world with him, basically becomes Ricecake's playmate, and ends up having to eat a lot as a substitute for mana, since MC's world has none.
