I feel ya, I wasted my time on the novel so ima just read this up until *Spoiler please don't read* Princess gets together with the Desert King and they have an adopted kid, then stop reading.
I leave it at Prinsess got his happy ending while the asshat prince goes back home empty handed and can't get Daddy Emperor to get Princess back cuz the Prinsess being with the Desert King is waaaay more beneficial for them since it creates an alliance through marriage. The End lol

I remember being so infuriated and irritated by the damn asshole male lead and feeling so sorry for the MC, what the hell, I am not going to pick this back up so I'm going to assume that the MC lived happily ever after with someone else at the opposite side of the world and ML fucking rotting in hell, I don't care what you guys say, ML changed or whatever, he still abused MC, for those who support their relationship is fucked up
