Also, I do think Mystia has grown SO much since the earlier chapters, its subtle but it there. From just addressing Alice as the "protagonist" and thinking that associating with her is a ticket to hell, thinking that one wrong move in fron of Raid can kill her, to her defending Alice and even making friends outside of the characters in Kyun-Love į(^o^į) I love her so much I hope she realises her worth soon and sees how much the people around her care and love for her
"Why is Mystia so insistent on following the game?" "She's already changed so much why is she denying it?" "The MC is so stupid and frustrating"
Are questions that I see a lot and it's actually kinda frustrating. The reason why she's so insistent on the game's destiny is because she thinks it's the best outcome for everyone but her (see volume 2, chapter 5, she says that Eric meeting Alice would bring him happiness) that's why she's trying to change her own unfortunate circumstances but still pushing for Raid and Eric to fall for Alice (mostly Raid but, anyways). Its her character flaw that makes sense and drives the plot forward and something that has been addressed and still needs to be worked on (First seen in chapter 5 where she initially thinks Eric is "bugged" and that the "protagonist" can fix him)(chapter 11 , where she visits Ali, the janitor, for advice on Feena Naini.) Its a whole combination of things, Mystia's information on everyone is based on the game and so far, everything has been spot on (at least in her perspective) so it would make sense for her to think that her life and everyone's destinies would follow. She sees how Raid's and Eric's character and fates have changed but this terrifies her because she thinks her actions are BAD for them. She also thinks that Raid and Eric falling in love with Alice is inevitable, not because she thinks they're programmed to be that way and that they have no humanity but because she thinks its natural fate and the only reason they aren't falling in love is because of the changes she's made. She thinks that because of her, Raid became a bro con and that's why he wont fall in love with Alice.
Remember that Mystia is a girl with low self esteem, so low that she doesn't even fathom the thought that she can make positive changes in somebody's life let alone fall in love her (again, we can see this in volume 2, chapter 5, where in the text box it literally says "what if someone else whisked his loneliness away?" while little Eric is kissing her on the cheek lol) that's why she overcompensates by forcing people into their game destiny (aka their best outcome) and not even daring to make friends because she thinks she'll drag them down with her. This is also why I think her being oblivious to their romantic advances makes sense and its because she really just can't fathom someone liking her romantically. I love her so much my little pathetic meow meow
