it does add to the plot .... because it's the whole fucking plot lmao. like them being related is the central conflict and the whole reason why the mc keeps refusing the ml. the author wants to write incest probably to explore the taboo and have the characters go through immense internal conflict.
Do authors know they can make BL plots with out making it incest???? I genuinely don’t understand why they feel the need to include it? Like it doesn’t add anything to the storyline or plot
